My Journey — From Process Engineer to AI-Augmented Lead

My professional path has always been driven by one question: "Is there a better way to do this?" Today, that question runs through an AI stack. Fourteen years ago, it ran through a stopwatch and a process map.

T-Systems (2011–2015) — the foundations. I started in IT service operations, managing service chains and learning that a process is only as good as the people who execute it. I led the KONE onboarding, cut client escalations by 30% via a cross-functional reporting framework, and earned my Six Sigma Greenbelt on a 10%-faster Order Management redesign. The discipline of ITIL became muscle memory.

British Telecom (2015–2022) — Lean Six Sigma at scale. Seven formative years. I redesigned the hung-line ITSM process and halved incident volume (-50%). I automated internal ticket-quality checks and freed 10 FTE / USD 100k+ annual run-rate. As Agile Deployment Lead, I drove 21% adoption uplift on a PEGA workflow rollout — voluntary adoption with no mandate, won through stakeholder engagement. Change management at scale, with metrics on every move.

NTT Ltd. (2022–2024) — global standardisation. As Principal Business Operations Specialist, I harmonised the Opportunity-to-Cash value stream across 12 regional entities. I migrated billable change orders from legacy ERP to SAP S/4HANA, operationalised variable billing, and led the consolidation that retired three enterprise tools — EUR 500k+ in annual licence savings. Standardisation done correctly is what unlocks global scale.

InnovateIT Consulting (Sept 2024 – present) — my own vehicle. I founded InnovateIT Kft. as the B2B vehicle for single-engagement deep transformations. One client at a time, 12–18 month mandates, total focus. AI-augmented BPM advisory: process mining (Celonis, SAP Signavio), LLM-assisted SOP extraction, and EU AI Act governance framing.

My Philosophy — Methodology First, Tools Second

I don't believe in change for the sake of change. I believe in evidence-based transformation. Whether it's consolidating APIs, redesigning a workflow, or wiring up a Copilot pipeline, every decision has to be backed by data and aligned with the strategic goals of the organisation.

Lean Six Sigma + ITIL governance fluency translates directly into AI risk management — that's the differentiator versus AI-lab researchers parachuting into banks. In regulated firms, the compliant tool is the fast tool once audit is in the room. The faster cloud option that fails risk review is slower than the offline option that ships.
